Susy Gordon — Founder & CEO, Mega Mission Media

She Left a $155K Salary
to Help the Lost Launch

"God is the master of timelines — and you cannot change that."

Susy Gordon's story begins in a high school television studio in Mesquite, Texas, where she fell in love with broadcasting, storytelling, and putting programming on the air. That spark ignited a decade-long career in major market media — from Univision and CBS Channel 11 in Dallas/Fort Worth to Clear Channel Radio, where she worked alongside legendary morning shows and met names that defined the industry.

To support a growing family, Susy made a calculated switch to tech. What followed was 20 to 25 years of corporate climbing — Project Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, SharePoint Admin, Director of Strategy and Delivery. She built teams, transformed organizations, and coached leaders across major corporations. At her peak, she was earning $155,000 a year.

"Titles and income mean absolutely nothing during a hardship. That hardship is what led me to my pivot."

Then came the season that changed everything. The loss of her sister. Personal hardship. Addiction. Nine months of homelessness. The kind of crisis that strips away everything that felt permanent. Susy pivoted to rideshare — not as a plan, but as the only door open to her.

What looked like a step down was God repositioning her. Instead of behind a monitor directing teams, she was now behind a windshield meeting people — over 3,000 passengers who shared their stories, their dreams, and sometimes their expertise with her. One passenger became her boss and brought her back into corporate America — sober, clear-minded, and grateful.

Mega Mission Media is a creative digital media agency helping businesses, founders, and individuals expand their digital presence — through websites, social media content, video production, and podcast support. But it's more than a service company. It's the foundation of an evolving ecosystem.

Susy is building a platform where anyone can come and share their transformation blueprint and story — whether that's a business pivot, a personal comeback, or a calling they're just beginning to answer. Business or personal. Lost or launched. The platform is for all of it.

"I'm creating a space where everybody gets a platform to share their story and their blueprint. That's what I'm doing."

The ecosystem is already taking shape — Mega Mission Media and Joyrides Fort Worth are active. NexConnect is in development. Speaker of Subjects, Fitness Sanctuary Fort Worth, and Seeker of Story are on the horizon. Each project is a thread in the same mission: help the lost launch.

In June 2025, Susy walked away from her corporate career — a $155,000 Director role — in full pursuit of purpose and faith expansion. It wasn't impulsive. It was inevitable. No corporate door would open. Every purpose door would.

She had spent 25 years solving problems for other people's organizations. She reshaped teams, implemented methodologies, and coached leaders. She was a solutionist by nature. And she finally turned that same instinct toward the problem she had lived herself.

"I was the seeker. I lived the experience of wanting to start and not being able to find affordable, accessible guidance. Building this is my answer to the gap I personally suffered through."

She didn't set out to build a media company. She set out to follow what God was showing her — and what He showed her was a big, unsolved problem: people everywhere have stories, blueprints, and transformations that the world needs to hear, and no one is giving them the platform to share it. That's the problem Susy is solving.

Two car wrecks in January and February 2026 grounded her vehicle — her mobile office, prayer closet, think tank, and conference room. Without the car, she was forced to look inward. She heard clearly: look within, Susy, look within.

She started calling. She got on Yelp, found businesses without websites, and made 30 cold calls in a single day. One person called back. She closed the deal. He is still her client today — and after she built his digital presence, his phone would not stop ringing.

"God is the master of timelines. In my car, I learned about Claude. In my car, I found 1 Million Cups. Every door that mattered opened through my windshield."

A rideshare passenger in a 45-minute traffic jam introduced her to Claude Code. She went home and rebuilt her client's website in under 10 minutes. Another passenger introduced her to One Million Cups Fort Worth — which became her founding community. The car was never just transportation. It was the classroom.

What the Seeker Needs to Hear

Advice to your past self

"Start doing what you've never done to get the results you've never had. Search more for God. Let go of yourself."

What success means now

"Lights still on. Roof over my head. Kids are happy. God is pleased. Peace and joy are present. That is success."

To someone afraid to start

"Start. Just start. You are not going to know the entire plan. You will figure it out as you go. And if you need help — I can help you with that."

What had to change

"I am in control of absolutely nothing. Nobody is coming to save you. What I read in the Bible, I had to activate — by speaking it and giving it to someone else."

What people misunderstand

"Entrepreneurship is not expensive or exclusive or out of reach. Every person is born with a purpose. If other people can do it — why not me?"

What keeps her going

"My faith. There is no question. It's this sign right here. My faith keeps me going."
